Wild West! Shoot Out at the A!
Join us Saturday, January 30, from
6:00pm-midnight for a German Mardi Gras
celebration here at the A! Party and dance with
Euro-American party band Pros't from
Cincinnati and enjoy the traditions of the evening
including the presentation of Karneval royalty, the
Grand March, a raffle and prizes!

 Join us for The Athenaeum's ArtSpace
"Salon Show" from February 5-25,
2010
Opening Reception: Friday, February
5th, 6-9pm Over 20 talented
artists step out of the cold on First Friday, February
5th to exhibit 2-3 pieces of art work each in the
Athenaeum's ArtSpace. Come out from 6-9pm to enjoy
music, food, wine and over 40 original works of art
created locally. A few of our creative artists
showing in this first show of the year are; Kevin Smola,
Gayla Hodson (artwork pictured), Susan Brewer, Victoria
Gillieron, and Elizabeth Kenney.

detail oriented individual to provide support.
Responsibilities to include managing event
coordination, organize mailings, maintain inventory of
office supplies, answer phones and inquiries as needed,
some data entry, ecommerce updates and process mail.
Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Director & Flute Soloist. Dr. Kujiken is the
world's leading exponent of the one-keyed Baroque flute,
as well as a much-in-demand conductor and teacher.
He has performed throughout much of the world and
his discography includes recordings of most of the
important 18-Century flute works. He teaches at
the Royal Conservatories of The Hague, The Netherlands,
and Brussels, Belgium.

Conversations
with Rodney Allen
The
Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library
 William "Rodney" Allen, scholar and author of
"Conversations with Kurt Vonnegut," will be traveling
from Louisiana to Indianapolis to share his insights
into Vonnegut's life and works. Allen will deliver
a speech to supporters of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial
Library at the Athenaeum at 7:00 pm on February
18th.
This event is sponsored by the Kurt Vonnegut
Memorial Library and is a free event open to the public,
but anyone interested in attending must RSVP by
