Dear Members – Are you interested in providing leadership for The GAK? The nominating committee is seeking individuals to serve on The GAK board. Requirements are klub membership for one year. Time commitment ranges from a few hours per month to whatever you want to put into it. We need people to continue the progress that the current board has made in the last few years. 10 Dollar SpecialThis week’s $10 dinner special will be the Kassler Rippchen – one smoked chop with 2 sides and soup or salad.

Wednesday, March 11 – Buffet Night!

BuffetMight not be quite warm enough for the biergarten, but it will feel like spring out there. Come out and enjoy this week’s buffet featuring Schweinebraten, Sausages and Kraut, Chicken Pot Pie, Stuffed Peppers, German Potato Salad, German Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Green Cabbage and a variety of cold salads. The full menu will also be available.

Thursday, March 12 – Ballroom Dancing is Back!

Ballroom DancersWould you like to learn to dance the Rhumba, Cha-Cha, Hustle, Fox-Trot, Country Two-Step, Waltz, East-Coast Swing, and line dances Night Club Style? Beginners and Intermediate – both single and couples classes have begun! Featuring Professional Ten Dance Ballroom Certified dance instructor Monique Despres. Classes are on Thursday evenings and last four weeks with discounts available for members. Quarterly dinner dances including student showcases. Parents-teen classes are coming soon! We will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day a little early – Lorra Socha will be in the house to entertain us with her Scottish/Irish tunes. She may also be bringing an Irish dancer or two along. Our Friday night special will be 2 piece tilapia dinner with 2 sides, soup or salad for $12.95.

Saturday, March 28 – Jaegerfest!

Make your reservations for the annual hunting feast! Cost is $30 per person or $200 for a table of 8. Cocktails/appetizers at 6:00 followed by dinner/speaker at 7:00. Jet Quillen of the Department of Natural Resources will be our featured speaker. Space is limited – call the Klub at 317-888-6940 or 445-3929 to make reservations.
